DIET FOR DIABETICS

Society
Traditionally,
from Conventional Allopathic Medical Practitioners and Nutritionist first
declared that diet had little to do with disease and that micro-organisms were
their cause. Natural Alternative
Medical Practitioners-Naturopaths, Chiropractors, Herbalist, Oriental and East
Indian and other Eastern Practitioners have been suggesting that diet and life
styles are a major cause of disease with stress and environmental toxins
following close behind.
They have
suggested that our diets for diabetes should be high in complex carbohydrates,
vegetables and whole grains (high fiber), and low in fats and proteins. Additionally,
the diabetic should focus on whole, unprocessed foods and avoid alcohol,
caffeine and sugar.
In trying to
understand how the body functions, they, for-the-most-part have not established
any form of science to guide them in this task, but have established a set of
partially developed scientific approaches.
These systems are followed in their research projects and in the
development of their therapies, but they have failed to establish a complete
scientific system to assist them in the manner in which they approach each
individual and apply their therapeutic methods!
Because of this
lack of a complete science, they have been declared an ART rather than a
SCIENCE.
Therefore, their
decisions have been guided, mostly by observation and experience. Because of this accepted half scientific
system, most practitioners are not aware that they are not using a complete
science when determining what to do with whom they call a patient.
What they have
traditionally accepted and called their scientific procedure is to gather
information from a variety of sources as to what a practitioner discovered
helped people to overcome their diseased condition! They then have used these procedures to treat those who come to them.
Such processes
have made up the majority of their education and practices. A partial
scientific system of testing substances upon people was developed, without
knowing the true affects of a substance or procedure. Problems developed so animals have been used to find out what
toxic affects a substance might have on them and from the outcome they
determine if it is safe for human consumption.
This defies all
laws of physics and other principles of true science and omits many concepts
that are essential for correct application of any product or therapy. Without this complete science there have
developed a variety of systems to help measure the affect of a therapy or
product in an attempt to be more individually specific. But these systems although very helpful also
fall far short in their overall effectiveness, for far to many people are NOT
HELPED OR ARE HARMED while others just fall to the wayside.
Traditionally
certain methods of treatment filter down to be the most used, because they
provide the most success and create the means to entice people to submit to a
practitioner’s judgement as to how and when a substance or therapeutic method
would be used. Experience, intellect
and skill have become the mainstay part of their approach to treating disease!
Both
Conventional and Alternative Medical practitioners have followed this
incomplete scientific method for treatment and research, fighting among
themselves as to who has the most success and follows scientific procedures!
The truth about
all of this is that NEITHER ONE ARE USING A FULL COMPLETE SCIENCE. Therefore, you see all the problems and
sporadic outcomes, successful results with some, less successful with others
until many are harmed and some even die as their experience from accepting the opinions
of those who are calling themselves EXPERTS IN HEALTH CARE!
After the
public’s experience, they have become very confused and now skeptical about
whether or not they can trust anyone who calls themselves a Professional,
because they have gone to school, taken tests and have obtained licenses to do
what they were trained to do.
But this has not
been any more successful in protecting the public than anything else, because
no one seems to know or at least understand what the real problems are with ALL
OF THE WORLDS HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS!
Over the years a
traditional procedure has been accepted as has many other procedures they have
been using, but now these all have been challenged as to their effectiveness,
because statistics that have been gathered NOW SHOW THAT EVERYTHING HAVE CAUSED
BAD SIDE AFFECTS AND EVEN DEATHS, so WHAT DO WE REALLY TRUST AS THE TRUTH?
In the case of
THE CONDITION CALLED DIABETES, the traditional approach declares that someone with
this condition should use mostly A high fiber diet to conducive to control
blood sugar levels! They declare that
it reduces blood fats and the need for insulin and helps to slow the rate of
food as it passes through the intestines into the bloodstream. High fiber foods
include, almonds, prunes, figs, raisins, plums, blackberries, apples, peas,
corn, zucchini, broccoli, kidney beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, spinach, oat
bran and whole wheat bread. (increased fluid intake can assist in dealing with
the increased gas that can accompany the switch to a high fiber diet.)
But now after
years of using the following program, the outcome is all confused, because
people are still suffering from diabetes and in fact, it is on the increase,
specifically among children. SO, WHAT
IS REALLY GOING ON HERE?

GOOD OR BAD? WHICH IS IT!
This system is
declared to be the best what to deal with a diabetic condition. Is this really the case, after all the facts
are in?
Their
observations declared it to be the best method because how it has helped some
people. Due to being rich in soluble
fiber, it has
been suggested
that ½-1 cup of beans daily could eliminate insulin dependence in type II
diabetics by lowering blood
cholesterol and
blood sugar.
Contrasting, low
fiber foods are quickly absorbed into the blood and cause spikes in blood sugar
levels. Furthermore, high fiber diets have been known to effect an
increase in the number of insulin receptor sites, stimulate the cells enzyme
machinery for burning glucose and increase cell sensitivity to insulin. This reduces the need to take insulin, etc.
so they believe it is the best treatment!
Their half scientific studies and statistical data of the outcomes of what they use, indicate chromium rich foods such as whole grain breads and cereals, brewers yeast, wheat germ and orange juice as beneficial. Also vitamin C, B6, copper, selenium and zinc are among those known to assist in treating, controlling and even reversing diabetes. Additionally, in Arabia and Japan Studies have shown that Aloe Vera juice functions to lower blood sugar in patients with diabetes.
Additionally, calcium, magnesium, selenium, molybdenum, chromium, iron, copper, zinc, and even boron are typically deficient in the modern diet. This situation, combined with the nutrient loss associated with excessive urine excretion caused by diabetes, makes it easy to become deficient in the nutrients necessary for cell function, structure, and communication.
COMMENTS:
The Science of
Wellness Society and its professionals find, what is given above, though good
information, under certain specific conditions of each person, such information
has been gathered over the years from experience and statistical research that
has not been conducted using a complete science. Therefore, it is inaccurate as far as the advice given in
relationship to, who, when, how and other variables that need to be addressed
before applying or using what has affected the blood sugar of many individuals.
We have discovered,
using a complete science, that it is not wise to take what has worked for one
person and assume that everyone will respond the same, nor that what is working
for one person will continue to work.
We know this because The Science of Wellness gives us the laws and
principles that govern all physical and chemical interactions within all
biological organisms.
Because there are
laws of physics that govern all chemical interactions within biological
organisms, we can understand and validate the statements of Hippocrates,
Paracelsus and others that, “one man’s food is another man’s poison,” “One
man’s poison is another man’s food,” “Let your food be your medicine and your
medicine be your food.” AND NOW we can
ADD A NEW ONE TO THIS LIST, “one man’s food becomes his own poison!”
Therefore, to
assume that a food or substance that corrects or affects one person in a
positive and constructive manner will always respond the same, within this
person or in all other persons, is ludicrous and specifically unscientific.
Thus, it is not a
scientific truth to declare the suggestions given above in the treatment of
Diabetic conditions are the processes to follow in all situations and in all
cases diagnosed as DIABETIC. In fact it
is very unwise to assume that all persons diagnosed with this condition should
follow the traditional suggestions above.
It is wise and
scientific to first determine that the substances used are as chemically
compatible as possible and thus useable by the person that has been given the
suggestion to use them. When following
the full Science of Wellness a person may therefore be successful in helping to
correct this condition. Only substances
that are compatible, with the person diagnosed with this condition, should be
used.
The Science of Wellness
has the answers!
In fact it is
unwise to create a research project that does not take into consideration the
individual differences and compatibility of a product with anyone participating
in this project. It makes no sense to
give a substance to a person that has no chemical compatibility with the test
substance, because of the reality that such a substance if not compatible will
create a different response than when given to a person who has compatibility.
It is also
ludicrous to ignore the reality that a substance that is more compatible with
one person than another, will give a greater positive outcome than that which
will be displayed by someone that is less compatible with that substance and a
greater probability that a person that is totally incompatible with such a
substance will have an extremely high probability of having a negative response
to that substance!
To use a
substance on a wide range of persons with divergent compatibility to a
substance will create a condition that yields a greater chaotic outcome and
less significant results, which in reality is the result of an improper sample
of subjects. Thus, the outcome of such
research will change, when given to a larger sample and yield an even more
diverse response due to the divergent nature of the sample population used.
It becomes
imperative that the sample of the population that is used in testing a product
must be determined to be either highly compatible or that each sample is
uniformly determined to have the same type of compatibility from highly to
none, so that each group can be observed as they respond more uniformly to the
substance given. Without determining
the compatibility of a substance to a person taking it the possibility of
controlling or accurately predicting the outcome, will be greatly affected,
which pollutes the sample and nullifies the project!
What one study
finds out will be different from that of another study simply because different
people are being used that have different compatibility with the substance and
thus the outcome will always be different.
A product that is tested to have no significant negative side effects
with one group may and usually will have significant negative side effect with
a larger sample, simply due to the principle of individual differences and the
compatibility or non-compatibility of one person from another!
So we declare to
all who read the above information that you will be using these suggestion at
your own risk and that if you have any positive results it will be strictly
based upon luck and nothing scientific!
But if you have
the complete Science of Wellness you will have the necessary information to
determine the outcome at a much greater probability of it being positive than
without this science. So, good luck if
you chose to follow any suggestions given in any book that does not also give
you a complete science to guide you in your applying their suggestions or
health program.
Our Professionals
just need to become aware of this science and make some small changes in their
belief systems and procedures in order to correct the confusion that some
things are GOOD AND OTHERS ARE BAD, WHEN SUCH IS JUST NOT THE CASE! Scientifically, there are no GOOD OR BAD
THINGS!
Under PRESENT
PROFESSIONAL PROCEDURES and conditions
there will be no real way that they can give you any real scientific reason
that you should use their programs or product the way they suggest, because
everyone is different and will respond differently to each program or
product!
To use any
program or product without knowing how compatible you are with it is to engage
in a very risky activity. So we wish
you the best of luck, or you can take our seminars and obtain a more realistic
procedure that will guide you through your selections of what you use or do!
The proof is in
the confusion that exists today and the inability of the professional to
scientifically explain in simple terms, why they suggest what they do! High
fiber diets help, but whole grains are devastating many who are not compatible
with such diets, so it is now obviously evident that each person must receive
their own specific diet, which scientifically will not stay compatible. Therefore other foods must be found that
they can change to in order to be symptom free.
In actuality
this process is necessary for everyone to become aware of and learn how to
regulate their own diets, from month to month and year to year, before any
control of the presently experienced diseases will be obtained!
There are some
very good foods, programs, diets, supplements and food products that are
helpful to many people, but they do not nor will they ever help everyone, nor
will they help any person for ever! It
is essential of obtain the Science of Wellness to really know what to do in all
situations. Without it, you will always
be having to guess at some point in what you do!
Vaccinations,
drugs, nutrition, supplements, diets, therapies are not the complete answer,
because what helps one person will harm others and what harms others will help
yet different people!

...”ANTI-AGING MEDICINE is really a very ancient field, Dr. Barry Spears points
out in his latest book, The Anti-Aging Zone.
“There exists an Egyptian
papyrus, written 2,600 years ago, called “Book for Transforming an Old Man into
a Youth of Twenty.” Likewise, Taoist
sages prescribed diet regimens, her potions and special exercises in the hope
of preserving vigor and attaining physical immortality. Stories of magical elixirs and
immortality-giving, youth-preserving “food of the gods” are a common theme in
mythology and literature, showing humanity’s longing to conquer aging. Amazingly, for millennia humans believed
that the right special food could preserve eternal youth; that there existed
something the gods ate or drank that prevented aging.
This aging-retarding food of the gods is right in our kitchen,
Spears announces. But the secret is not
so much in what we eat, as what we do not eat.
If we eat less, we will live longer....”The fewer calories you
consume, the less energy is required to process the incoming food and the fewer
free radicals you make. The fewer free
radicals you make, the longer you live.”
Calorie restriction: the “Holy Grail” of anti-aging...we must
eat less. “There is only one consensus
in the world of anti-aging: the only proven way to reverse aging is to restrict
calories.” Yes, we readily agree that
many people, perhaps most, in effect kill themselves by eating too much. There
are no obese centenarians. ...he asserts that it is indeed possible to feel
perfectly sated and have a lot of energy if one eats the correct
carbohydrate-restricted diet that includes sufficient protein and fat—the two
macronutrients that will stabilize blood sugar in the longevity-promoting
low-normal range and provide sustained energy.
...one can go down to
1200 calories for the average woman and 1500 calories for the average man. ...90% of free radicals (toxins) in our
bodies are generated through the utilization of food. In spite of the outcry about pollution and radiation, these are
relatively marginal sources of free radicals.
The sad truth is that the more calories we eat, the more free radicals
we generate, and if most of these calories come from high-glycemic
carbohydrates (bread, cereal, pasta, pastry, most fruit juice, overcooked
vegetables, etc), then we also begin to suffer from hyperinsulinemia and
hypercortisolism, with a corresponding drop in beneficial hormones such as DHEA
and growth hormone. The result of both
excess calories and the endocrine imbalance that follows is the creeping
middle-age spread (as the saying goes, “middle-age starts when you start
growing in the middle”), and no end of degenerative disorders.
According to Spears, the crucial concept is the inversion
of the USDA food pyramid, with its bizarre, pro-aging recommendation of up to
eleven daily servings of starchy food (cereal, bread, pasta and other refined
carbohydrates)are placed at the very top of Spears’ anti-aging pyramid, with
the admonition “Use sparingly” while the Federal United States government urges us to eat them freely. Spears says that these should be severely
reduced, even eliminated. Instead of
being the main staple, they should hardly be consumed at all. (We suggest that they should be used mostly
as sprouts and in drinks of various kinds, without chemical preservatives.)
...the so-called whole-wheat bread, is very efficient at
raising our blood sugar and insulin. If
you ever see the insulin curve after a “meal containing bread,” you would be
quite motivated to eliminate all forms of bread except perhaps a bit of coarse
rye.
...What would we eat without bread and other cereals? Lots of vegetables, as long as they are not overcooked, and
moderate servings of low-glycemic fruits.
...And if we eat the plant food raw, we are also getting the benefits of
natural, live, enzyme-rich food.
...Spears recommends daily moderate exercise as an essential part of his
anti-aging program. ...”The more intense
the exercise, the fewer the benefits for longevity.” ...intense exercise also
increases the levels of free radicals.”
COMMENT by the
Science of Wellness Society:
This still does
not express the use of a scientific in applying what people suggest you use!
Although this is
what is called scientific research that supports the Science of Wellness it
does not supply the science by which all of their findings can be proven as
factual when people do what they suggest!
Our latest
National News report on Dec. 31, 2002 declared the inappropriate and misleading
conclusions being made by bad research methods used by Conventional Medicine
and Drug manufacturers, causing all the confusion, deadly outcomes and false
reports of their safety, etc!
Some people have
scientifically developed instruments to treat and text you in their attempt to
determine what you should take or therapy you should receive, but they do not
have the science that explains why, nor are they completely sure that what they
have you take or do will really work for you!
Experience and skill still reigns supreme and having a complete science
to work with is not in their hands as yet!
Some use the
scientific System of Kinesiology, which is probably the most accurate when used
properly, but those who use this very good system, still do not have the
science to explain why it works the way it does, except everyone is chemically
different! They do not know how to scientifically explain or control the
outcome!
